Translation: "Over the years this country has swamped me with gifts, apart from culture, literature, great movies, art, cooking, vines, grappa, it gave me a wonderful wife, a wonderful wife and two wonderful kids and for all that being here tonight with this gift in my hands, here in this country, perhaps its the greatest honour of my life.
I'm here for the gift Tom Ford gave me; he gave me his trust, not as a professional deal, but he had just this thing very very personal, very precious, very important for him and he put it in my hands and thereby it became personal, important and precious also for me, something to keep forever and he gave me also the opportunity to work with these great talented persons, great friends Julianne, Matthew, etc. share this with all of you. To Tom Ford-- I'm looking forward to see your next piece of work.

My wonderful wife that inspired me, loved me, beared me since 15 years, with patience to bear this strange roles, these different husbands with which she lives. Thank you. Thanks all of you, thanks jury, thanks festival.
